Academie de Ballet All-Stars
The Academie de Ballet competition team is made up of intermediate and advanced dancers from Academie de Ballet. This dedicated team of dancers is under the direction of Melissa Moore, assisted by Michaela Sigmon Connor and Alayna Vilardi. The team rehearses on weekends and travels to at least 4 regional competitions and 1 National competition each year.
Our dancers are well-rounded and compete in many categories such as ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and specialty tumbling.
Dancers are selected by the director each year from students at Academie de Ballet and must meet level requirements to be considered. Dancers must be enrolled at ADB for 1 full dance year before joining the competition team. Each dancer competing in anything except tap must have a minimum of one year of training completed in ballet 3/4 or higher. Dancers are encouraged to study all subjects during the week at Academie.
