Many of our advanced students travel and perform with Masterworks Performing Arts Company at a variety of venues such as churches, fundraisers for charities, and outreach ministries such as Project Dance in Times Square, New York City.

Jazz and lyrical ballet are classical ballet technique -based. At Academie all jazz and lyrical students level 3 and higher are enrolled in classical ballet classes as well to maintain excellent technique and contant progression. Levels usually coincide with classical placement levels. Students will advance after mastering the syllabi for each level.

Students studying intermediate through advanced ballet and jazz classes may also enroll in our popular Musical Theater class which incorporates Broadway style jazz choreography with singing and acting techniques.

Tap and hip hop are unique dance forms. Students are able to advance in these classes at an individual pace. The students in tap will advance in levels after mastering the syllabi for each level. We also have half levels to accomodate our large syllabus. We believe in teaching A to Z, giving the student a complete knowledge of dance.

Contemporary jazz is for the most advanced ballet and jazz students at Academie and enrollment is by invitation only.

We also offer acrobatics to help students gain strength and flexibility. Acrobatic skills are useful in nearly all forms of dance, as well as cheerleading.
